Eugene Rosenfeld is one of the nation’s leading real estate developers. He, along with Apollo Advisors founded Western Pacific Housing, a residential development company which merged with Schuler Homes, Inc. Ultimately, the combined companies were sold in 2002 to D.R. Horton for $1.4 billion. Currently, he is the sole proprietor of Forest Lane Group, a major investor and developer of commercial and residential property in both the United States and Europe. During his 13 years with Kaufman and Broad, an international housing producer and insurance company, he rose from division controller to president and CEO. Under his leadership, Kaufman and Broad became one of the nation’s largest producers of housing, expanding internationally. He also serves on the UCLA Zinman Center for Real Estate Board.
